CBP® Cyber Seminars!

By Joe Ferrantelli, D.C.

www.chiropracticbiophysics.com A.K.A. www.idealspine.com

Yes….you read the title correctly!  CBP® is not only the first chiropractic technique to publish in a variety of prestigious medical journals, but we are also the first chiropractic technique to offer online video seminars.   No longer will doctors have to miss seminars if they are too far away or to busy to travel!

The CBP® Cyber Series is a pay-per-view type service, which will allow the online viewing of our most popular seminars and videotapes.  Utilizing the Real Player G2 program, available free for download at www.real.com, doctors and students will be able to view video streams of our seminars.  The video streams will be available for 2 –week unlimited viewings!   The technology of video streams is still in its infancy due to the lack of broadband availability  (fast connections to the internet like Cable modems and DSL thus allowing for near TV quality), but these videos stream quite nicely over 56k modem connections.

                The advantages are quite obvious:

·         Save travel time
·         Save travel costs
·         Save lodging costs
·         Save food expenditure costs
·         Receive CBP® credit for attending Seminars and be listed/updated in our CBP® Referral manual (sorry CEU’s can not be credited at this time).

Currently, CBP® OnLine has the full 12 Hour Biomechanics Seminar as well as all 6 of our home video tape series online!

The cost of this service is quite attractive: $299 per seminar for 2 –weeks of unlimited viewing.  When you figure in the additional cost of actually attending a seminar, the cost drastically inflates when airfare, lodging, and food expenses are added in.  Those doctors which have attended a CBP® Biomechanics seminar in the past will be able to view the Biomechanics Seminar (Taped in February 2000) at a reduced cost of $200, just like if they attended the actual seminar a 2nd time.

So to is it cheaper to view the CBP® Cyber Online home video series.   These videos are of the following:

·        Mirror Image Drop Table Adjusting
·        Mirror Image Table Instrument Adjusting
·        Mirror Image Exercise Protocol
·        CBP® 5 Minute Report of Findings
·        CBP® Cervical Extension Traction Protocols
·        CBP® X-Ray Analysis, Positioning and Alignment

Normally to buy these videos, we charge $100 per video ($79 for the Report of Findings video).  Additionally, you can rent all 6 online CBP® Home video series for $250, which is a savings of over $320 off the regular individual prices!

Because we cannot easily verify student status like we can at an actual seminar, a student must also pay $299 in order to view our online Cyber Seminars, therefore to off set this, we have a built in incentive.  Harrison CBP® Seminars will credit any student who views a Cyber Seminar $200 credit towards future attendance of two CBP® Seminars.   The student must attend these seminars within 6 months of the viewing of our Cyber Seminars.

Now free of charge, you can view our video demo streams, which includes the 18-minute Biomechanics video preview!  You first must have the Real Player G2 program installed.  Simply login and choose the “Online video” button.

In addition to the Cyber Seminars Series, CBP® OnLine has also added the CBP® Cyber Shop e-commerce capability to the website.  This will allow doctors and students to register for seminars, purchase passwords for online videos streams, pay CBP® Research dues and buy all the Harrison CBP® Seminar’s merchandise from the comfort of home.

CBP® OnLine also is working with several vendors to make their products available on our product page as well, so that a Cyber DC is only “one click” away from viewing valuable information on traction equipment, tables, software, etc.

If any of you would like additional information or would like information about advertising your product or service on our site, feel free to email me with any questions at webmaster@idealspine.com

See you in cyber-space!
