Greg Buchanan, an Australian, began his working life with Pirelli-Ericsson Cables and was responsible for software development, maintenance of a diverse range of electronic equipment and design of electrical cables and telecommunications cables.
Early in his working life, he became involved in computer technology, hardware and software and has worked in the information technology industry for over 25 years.
Most recently, he was a Director for Microsoft Australia and was responsible for its technical services strategy across the Asia Pacific region. He has negotiated large services contracts, and managed a team of over 100 personnel. He established a centralized support centre for the Asia Pacific region, which was considered by Microsoft to be of the highest quality and responsiveness.
Prior to working for Microsoft, Buchanan was a Director at Apple Computer and in that time was responsible for technical services and retail computer sales/marketing.
In the late 1970s, he worked for Texas Instruments in their minicomputer division as a Technical Specialist. In his time as a senior manager, Buchanan has managed multi-million dollar profit centers and has owned and operated small businesses.
He is a great lover of films, especially heroic fantasy and with a young writer/director co-founded New Realms Films www.newrealmsfilms.com.au.
Following a head injury in 1997 which forced him out of the work-force, he embarked upon his own research regime after doctors had told him his numerous symptoms were due to his ripe old age of 43! During this search, he discovered upper cervical chiropractic and also what he believes to be a root cause of most human illnesses. He has built a website www.upcspine.com to promote upper cervical chiropractic which has helped what is now thousands of sufferers around the World.
Buchanan appeared on the Australian Channel 9 Footy Show kicking off a fund raising event, involving NRL football players, which helped to raise over $600,000 for Westmead Children’s Hospital. He has a Black Belt in karate and has degrees in engineering, finance, and business.
