CBP® to File Lawsuit Against Quackwatch, Stephen Barrett, MD and Allen Botnick, DC

CBP® Practitioners, CBP® Seminars, Drs. Deed and Don Harrison have retained an attorney, Jim Turner, ESQ of Washington, DC, to prepare and shortly file suit against Stephen Barrett, MD, Allen Botnick, DC, and the Quackwatch web site for false and misleading statements concerning the Harrison’s and CBP® Technique. Recently Aetna, through its contract with ASHN, has cited the Quackwatch material as “evidence” for CBP® Technique being rated experimental, despite CBP’s six published clinical trials and 17 published case studies.
In a national campaign to raise funds for this lawsuit, several DCs have stepped forward to help. The Harrisons report that the Lawsuit will cost in the range of $175,000 to $200,000 through trial. So far, approximately $25,000 has been raised from concerned DCs (see Table on below). Thanks to the efforts of Dr. Eric Huntington (Maryland), donations from the Prescott Group Clients exceeded $12,000.
To combat Anti-Chiropractic propaganda from Quackwatch, the Harrisons need your help, please send donations, (credit cards are welcome and can be deducted monthly), to:
