Dr. Chris Colloca Joins ISSLS
At their
Annual meeting in June 2004 in Portugal, Dr. Chris Colloca was invited to be a
member of the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS).
Invited members must have a track record of multiple published papers on the
lumbar spine. There are only 250 ISSLS members worldwide. Dr. Colloca becomes
only the 6th Chiropractor to be invited to be an active member of this
prestigious research society. Other DC members of ISSLS include Scott Haldeman,
J. David Cassidy, Greg Kawchuk, Don Harrison, and Deed Harrison.
ISSLS members are dedicated to research,
started the research journal Spine, several are editors of biomechanics and
orthopedic journals in the Index Medicus, and are some of the biggest names in
spine research. There are now five members of the CBP® Nonprofit research team,
who are members of ISSLS (Rene Cailliet, MD, Tony Keller, PhD, Don Harrison,
PhD, DC, MSE, Deed Harrison, DC, and Chris Colloca, BS, DC). |
