CBP®’s 27th Annual Seminar Attracts over 150 Attendees
The 27th CBP®Annual seminar in Chicago during August 24th - 26th was the second largest in CBP®Annual history. Over 150 attendees were present to hear Dr. Deed Harrison’s new “pelvic morphology” material. Dr. RJ Hammett presented Risk Management, while Dr. Chris Colloca and Dr. Tony Keller talked on CBP®research in biomechanics. Drs. Denise Perron and Joe Ferrantelli discussed ongoing clinical research with the PosturePrintTM. Drs. Evan Katz and Deed Harrison discussed research projects on lateral cervical changes caused by automobile accidents.

Drs. Sandy and Jason Haas Receive CBP®’s Chiropractor of the Year
Dr. Sandy Haas and Dr. Jason Haas were awarded jointly the CBP®“Chiropractor of the Year” award. Dr. Sandy Haas is a graduate of Life University, while Dr. Jason graduated from Life-West. They have a successful practice in Windsor, Colorado. Dr. Jason Haas’ contributed to 10 recent CBP®Publications in the Index Medicus. He and Dr. Sandy Haas have recently helped to coordinate all the CBP®Clubs at various Chiropractic Colleges. They also have been traveling to different Chiropractic Colleges to offer seminars on how to start a successful CBP®practice. These seminars were offered at no reward for them, as the money was donated to CBP®Nonprofit.
 
CBP®Club Presidents Receive Awards
Dr. Deed Harrison presents Lisa White (Life University) and Dr. Eddy Turk (New York Chiropractic College) an award for their contribution to CBP®Clubs at their respective chiropractic institutions. Not present to receive their awards were Robert Privratsky, DC (Life-West), Siobhan Pakenham (Life-West), John Jarosz (Palmer), Anthony Nicholas (Cleveland-KC), John-Paul Curletto (Parker), and Robert Luckey, DC (NYCC).

Chris Colloca is CBP®’s Researcher of the Year
At the 27th CBP®Annual meeting in Chicago during the weekend of August 24th-26th, 2005, Dr. Chris Colloca, of Phoenix, Arizona, was awarded CBP®’s Researcher of the Year Award.Besides running a successful practice in Phoenix and teaching license-renewal weekend seminars through his Neuro-Mechanical company (www.neuromechanical.com), Dr. Colloca finds time to work on his Masters Degree in the Department of Kinesiology at Arizona State University and perform biomedical research. His research has been published in a variety of Index Medicus journals. He is a 1995 cum laude graduate of Life Chiropractic College (Marietta, GA), and a 1990 graduate of Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY). He holds postgraduate faculty appointments in five chiropractic colleges. He has authored over 30 journal publications, more than 10 textbook chapters, and over 20 conference proceedings. Dr. Colloca won the prestigious 1st Prize Scott Haldeman Award for the best research paper at the 7th biennial congress of the World Federation of Chiropractic (2003), and is a recipient of Sofamor Danek Poster Presentation Award (2002) from the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine.
