Dr Colloca Becomes a Reviewer for Spine and the European Spine Journal
 |

Dr. Chris Colloca has been selected as a reviewer for two prestigious orthopaedic journals, Spine, and European Spine Journal. Recognized internationally as the leading journal in its field, Spine (Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, Philadelphia, PA) is an international, peer-reviewed, bi-weekly periodical that considers for publication original articles in the field of spine. It is the leading subspecialty journal for the treatment of spinal disorders. With an acceptance rate of only 13 percent, Dr. Colloca joins an elite group of critical peer-reviewers of submitted manuscripts to provide his insights and opinions on the quality, methodology, and suitability of the papers he is asked to review. Dr. Colloca was recommended to Spine by Dr. Deed Harrison, who has been a reviewer for Spine for the past seven years.
European Spine Journal is a publication founded in response to the increasing trend toward specialization in spinal surgery. The Journal is devoted to spine surgery and all related disciplines, including functional and surgical anatomy of the spine, biomechanics and pathophysiology, diagnostic procedures, and neurology. The aim of European Spine Journal is to support the further development of highly innovative European spine surgery and to provide an integrated and balanced view of diagnostic, research and treatment procedures that will enhance effective collaboration among specialists worldwide. European Spine Journal is the official publication of the Spine Society of Europe. Dr. Colloca will provide feedback to the ESJ’s editors mostly in the fields of biomechanics and spinal manipulation.
