New CBP® Basic Certification Program Updates
This year we have restructured the majority of our CBP® Technique seminars to include newly identified materials and to meet the current demands of practicing chiropractors on both a state of the art research/scientific and a practice logistics basis. To this end, we would like to inform you of the current CBP® Technique Basic Certification program.
CBP® Technique Basic Certification Requirements:
- Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® X-ray & Posture or Basics Seminar,
- Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Drop Table Spine & Posture Adjusting Seminar,
- Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Instrument & Upper Cervical Adjusting Seminar,
- Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Cervical Spine Rehabilitation Seminar,
- Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Lumbar Spine Rehabilitation Seminar,
Key Features of CBP® Basic Certification
- Basic CBP® Certified Chiropractors will be listed on New CBP® Patient Website. No non-licensed Chiropractic student interns will be listed here. Also, doctors that have taken one or several CBP® seminars but have not completed the certification process will not be listed.
- CBP® Basic Certified Clinicians will be asked to place a photograph and brief bio of themselves with a listing of their clinic. Doctors will be able to update their own information with a provided access code.
- CBP® Basic Certified will be asked to provide a list of CBP® related equipment that they own and utilize in their treatment of different patient populations in order to be listed online at new website.
CBP® Basic Certification ‘Test’.
Once the above 5 certification seminar requirements are met, the clinician will be required to:
- Sit an informal test consisting of 45 multiple choice questions and analyze/measure a x-ray line drawing view.
- The Chiropractor will then be required to perform a series of ‘mock’ Mirror Image™ adjustments using a hand held instrument and/or the PCT drop table.
- Basic Certification Tests will only be offered at
all CBP Technique Seminars where the equipment and instructors are
available. You will need to notify CBP Seminars prior to the seminar
that you intend on sitting the examination.
Note: Basic Certification Status of a Chiropractor is not equivalent to CBP® Instructor Status and gives the individual no rights and privileges to CBP® technique materials or methods.

New CBP® Advanced Certification Program Updates

To this end, we would like to inform you of the current CBP® Technique Advanced Certification program.
CBP® Advanced Certification Requirements:
(In addition to the Basic Certification Requirements)
1. Attend the New CBP® Advanced Full Spine Seminar,
2. Attend the New CBP® Case Management Seminar,
3. Attend the New CBP® Workshop at Specified Clinic Locations,
4. Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Pediatric Seminar,
5. Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Biomechanics Seminar,
6. Attend the Newly Restructured CBP® Posture, Systemic Health, and Neurology
Key Features of CBP® Advanced Certification
- Advanced CBP® Certified Chiropractors will be listed on New Website. No non-licensed Chiropractic student interns will be listed on the New CBP Patient Friendly webiste. Also, doctors that have taken one or several CBP® seminars but have not completed the certification process will not be listed on this new website. These doctors will continue to be listed on the main idealspine website, but not the patient website.
- Advanced CBP® Certified Clinicians will be asked to place a photograph and brief bio of themselves with a listing of their clinic. Doctors will be able to update their own information with a provided access code.
- Advanced CBP® Certified Clinicians will be asked to place a photograph, brief bio, a map of their office location (generated automatically by our website), and a listing of their clinic with a full description. Here, the abstract of your case presentation at the annual will be listed in professional format for perspective patients to read the results of your treatment (see below for details). Doctors will be able to update their own information with a provided access code. Additionally, advanced certified doctors will have direct links to their own personal clinic websites.
- Advanced CBP® Certified Clinicians will be asked to provide a list of CBP® related equipment that they own and utilize in their treatment of different patient populations in order to be listed online.
CBP® Advanced Certification ‘Test’.
Once the above 6 certification seminar requirements are met, the clinician will be required to:
- Prepare and present a case presentation at either the CBP® Annual or Semi-Annual Conference. This case must be a recent patient case from your clinic where you treated said patient using CBP® Technique protocols and procedures. You must obtain informed consent from your patient giving you permission to present their case at the CBP® Conference and for possible submission to a peer-reviewed chiropractic journal for consideration for publication.
- You must submit a current photograph depicting the types of CBP® related spinal rehabilitative equipment in your Chiropractic clinic. A list of the equipment needs to be provided detailing the type of rehabilitation (in short) that the equipment can provide. For example, CBP® recommends some form of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar traction devices, exercise equipment, and drop table or hand held instrument.
Note: Advanced Certification will ONLY
be done at a Semi-Annual or Annual Seminar with prior arrangements made by
doctors contacting CBP Seminars or Dr. Deed Harrison Directly. Advanced Certification Status of a Chiropractor is not equivalent to CBP® Instructor Status and gives the individual no rights and privileges to CBP® technique materials or methods.
